Bradden Inman Pleased With Seven Points In A Week

14 March 2018

Bradden Inman hopes Rochdale can continue their recent points haul between now and the end of the season.

Inman was frustrated that Dale couldn’t take all three points against Southend United on Tuesday night, but is pleased with the return from the last three matches.

“Tonight was frustrating because we wanted the win in front of our own fans, but you’ve got to look at it as seven points from nine, so if you do that for the remainder of the season we’ll be fine," he said.

“In the first half we had a lot of chances and half-chances, and if we’d scored we probably could have gone on to win three or four nil.

“We started well in the second half, but they played a bit more defensive and made it an awkward game. They got a foothold in the match during the last five to ten minutes, so I guess a point was fair.”

The on-loan Peterborough United man has started Dale’s last three games and he is pleased to be back in the eleven.

“I hadn’t started for a while but I kept working hard in training and doing what the Gaffer wants me to do.

“I feel kind of lucky that I started the last three games but hopefully I can cement a spot in the team.

“I’m trying to help the boys score goals and I’m lucky enough I’ve got a couple this season. As long as I’m helping the team move up the table then I’m happy.”
