The Youth Team’s 2018/19 pre-season schedule has now been confirmed.
They will play three friendlies during July, before flying out to Venlow, Holland, for 12 nights.
The trip to Holland is full funded by the LFE’s Erasmus+ project, and provides scholars with the opportunity to fully integrate with their hosts, giving them a fantastic opportunity to gain an insight into life within a European club.
The Youth Team will also play a number of friendlies in Holland, including facing two local sides, which will be confirmed before they depart.
The pre-season fixtures so far are as follows:
Saturday 14th July – Preston North End (H) – Hopwood Hall College, 10.15am kick-off;
Saturday 21st July – Droylsden (A) – Butcher’s Arms Ground, 1pm kick-off;
Friday 27th July – Oldham Athletic (A) – Chapel Road, kick-off TBC.
