Dale Community Trust Attend Our Big Day Event 2018

11 July 2018

Dale In The Community Sports Trust coaches were at Oulder Hill Community School on Saturday, as part of the Our Big Day event.

The event celebrates the Cared For Children in Rochdale, and Trust coaches  and Desmond The Dragon were on hand to deliver sessions, including a penalty shootout session.

They were joined by the likes of Mayor of Rochdale Mohammed Zaman, who also took part in the penalty shootouts.

The children in attendance then tuned in to England’s 2-0 win over Sweden in the World Cup quarter-final.

Head Of Community Keith Hicks said: “It was lovely to see so many people turning up for this annual event and enjoying the numerous activities put on by various groups in the Rochdale Community.

“Rochdale Virtual School for Cared For Children’s aim is to ensure that young people in care achieve their full potential in education. I think many children have had a brilliant day out, just like us at the Trust.”
