Stephen Humphrys is eager to get started after joining Rochdale on loan from Fulham until the end of the season.
The striker stated it was conversations with Keith Hill and Brian Barry-Murphy that encouraged him to join the club.
“It’s been a long transfer window,” said Humphrys.
“The manager was interested in me in the summer, but unfortunately, we couldn’t get it done then.
“He’s kept his interest in me and I’ve had a lot of conversations with him and Brian Barry-Murphy as well, and they convinced me that this is the club to be at, at the minute.
“My coach at Fulham, Steve Wigley, knows Keith Hill quite well as well, and he’s told me how good of a manager he is, so it wasn’t a hard decision.
“For me, I want to come in and score goals, get assists and play well. I want to help the team as much as I can. That’s what I’ve discussed with the manager, and that’s what I’m going to try and do.”
