Rochdale Football Club is delighted to announce that Scott Wiseman has returned to the club.
The defender joins on loan from Chesterfield until the end of the season, returning to Dale seven years after his first spell at the club.
Wiseman initially joined Rochdale in 2008, making 114 appearances in three seasons. He was a key member of the Dale squad that earned promotion to League One in 2010.
A move to Barnsley followed in the summer of 2011, where he linked up again with Keith Hill.
He went on to join Preston North End and Scunthorpe United, before signing for the Spireites last summer.
