Rochdale’s latest recruit Sam Hart has told www.rochdaleafc.co.uk that he’s “excited” to be at the club after joining Dale on loan until the end of the season from Blackburn Rovers.
The 21-year-old trained with the squad on Wednesday and was pleased to get started straight away.
“The lads have been top class with me since I came in and everyone has made an effort to come over and talk to me,” said Hart.
“I really enjoyed my first day of training and my main aim is to kick on now, play some games and hopefully help keep us up.”
Hart, who has played seven games for Rovers this season, enjoyed a loan spell at League One Port Vale during the 2016-17 campaign while at Liverpool, playing 16 times, so he is no stranger to this division.
“I feel as though that experience gained during my time so far at Ewood Park and on loan at Port Vale last season will stand me in good stead here. I’ve still got a lot to learn but I’m here to play, to learn and help the team with my services.
“There are a lot of experienced players at Blackburn Rovers and they’ve all helped me along the way, but it’s important now for me to get game time and progress even further.”
