Niall Canavan delighted students at a local primary school this week.
The Dale defender held a Q&A session with Year 5 pupils at St Edward’s Primary School in Castleton.
He fielded a whole host of questions from the children, and encouraged them to support their local team!
Dale In The Community Sports Trust hold Premier League Primary Stars Sessions at the school on a Monday, along with after school sessions on a Thursday.
The Premier League Primary Stars sessions aim to increase participation in PE, football and sport activities and to enhance teachers' knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver high quality PE and school sports.
This programme will also allow teachers the opportunity to attend CPD events delivered by the FA, and also Rochdale AFC Community Trust staff, who are supported closely with the PFA.
The Trust’s Siobhan McElhinny and Dennis Leman from the PFA were also in attendance.
