We are delighted to have teamed up with our friends at MID Communications to add our support to Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas Toy Appeal.
Cash for Kids is Bauer Radio’s network of local charities and aims to make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children. Local stations such as Hits Radio Manchester and Key Radio fall under the Bauer Radio network.
Mission Christmas is one their many initiatives aimed at supporting the needs of children in our local communities and has been set-up to make sure no child in the North West wakes and across the UK up on Christmas morning without a present to open.
How it works & where to donate
We’re asking supporters, where possible, to donate just one gift so that Mission Christmas can make sure it's delivered to a child near you in time for Christmas Day.
All gifts should be new and unwrapped, and you can drop it off at the Ticket Office at the Crown Oil Arena.
Alternatively, if you’re in Rochdale Town Centre, feel free to pop into the O2 store in the Exchange Shopping Centre to drop off your gift donation.
Monday 17th December is the final day for drop-offs.
Gift ideas?
Mission Christmas is on the look-out for gifts for children of all ages, ranging from new born babies all the way up to those who are 18-years-old.
Donations can include: Teddies, books, dolls, action figures, jigsaws, colouring books and pencils, footballs, board games, make-up sets, toiletry sets, for example.
