Manager Keith Hill has praised the fans who travelled to Southend on Saturday, thanking them for their support.
111 Daleys turned out just three days before Christmas to back the lads at Roots Hall.
“They were superb – thank you for turning up!” said Hill.
“Those supporters who turned up to Southend today deserve a lot of credit because what they’ve done is shown a lot of belief in this football club and the team, and they’ve supported them.
“It was a difficult journey [to make at this time of year] and I’m glad we’ve represented those supporters with a victory, because they deserve it – they stick with us through thick and thin. I hope they enjoyed it, and hopefully it’s forward and upwards.”
