Rochdale Football Club is delighted to announce the loan signing of Zach Clough.
He has joined Dale until January from Championship side Nottingham Forest.
The 23-year-old forward came through the youth ranks at Bolton Wanderers, who he joined at the age of eight.
He made 68 appearances for the Trotters before joining Forest on transfer deadline day in January 2017, signing a four-and-a-half-year deal at the City Ground.
Clough has played 31 times for Forest, including starting in their FA Cup third round victory over Arsenal in January of this year.
He then rejoined boyhood club Bolton on-loan for the remainder of the 2017/18 season, contributing to their survival in the Championship, which was secured on the final day of the season courtesy of Aaron Wilbraham’s goal.
Clough will wear squad number 26 during his time at the club.
Welcome to the Crown Oil Arena, Zach!
The deal is subject to confirmation from the EFL.
