RAFC Season Tickets for the 2018/19 season are still on sale, with the number sold creeping up all the time.
Since our last update at the end of July we have sold a further 42, taking the total to 2689. Thank you to all that have purchased!
Roy Tickell and his grandson Alex are entering their third year as Season Ticket holders at the Crown Oil Arena, which came off the back of Alex attending Dale In The Community Sports Trust’s football and multi-sport sessions, for which he received a free ticket to a Dale home match.
Now Roy’s wife and son Jamie have become first-time Season Ticket buyers for the 2018/19 season.
“It’s a real family day out for us now at the Dale,” said Roy.
“There is a great family friendly atmosphere around the club, the kids enjoy it and there’s a real connection between the players and the supporters.
“When I go to the Community Trust sessions with Alex, I see more and more young children in Rochdale kits every time, which shows what the club are doing to entice more young fans is working.
“I used to watch Everton in the Premier League, but I get a lot more enjoyment out of watching Rochdale. I feel like I’ve rediscovered what football should be all about.”
