Dale return to Sky Bet League One action with a trip to the Ricoh Arena to face Coventry City on Saturday.
Keith Hill's men are unbeaten on the road in the league so far this season and were unlucky not to take Championship side Middlesbrough to penalties in the second round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
He has made two additions to his squad since that game, bringing Sam Hart back to the club on loan from Blackburn Rovers, along with Nottingham Forest's Zach Clough.
Coventry City currently sit 17th in the league table, with one win and two draws from their opening five games following their instant return to this level after a season in League Two.
