It’s not too late enrol for the Dale in the Community Trust’s BTEC Futsal Scholarship Programme.
Open to boys and girls aged 16-18, enrolment is being held this week (September 4th - September 11th) between 9am and 11am in the Study Centre at the Crown Oil Arena.
To enrol, either contact Shireen Bisping by calling 07481920445 or just turn up at the Study Centre on the above dates and times.
The course, which gets underway this month, is a fully accredited college course and is equivalent to three A Levels.
The timetable consists of 2 hours football training, supplemented by 2.5 hours of education at the club four days a week. The team will play matches in the EFL Futsal League and in the North West Pro Clubs League.
Once completed, there are pathways available, including the chance to go on to University, obtain a scholarship in the USA or start a career in the sports industry.
