The Dale in the Community Sports Trust’s Saturday Club returns on Saturday 9th September when Dale take on Blackburn Rovers.
There will be coaching sessions and five-a-side matches from noon, before lunch will be provided. Children will then watch the match against Blackburn from the Pearl Street Stand.
The cost for the full afternoon is just £5, and there is no booking required. Just turn up at 12pm at the Community Office at the Crown Oil Arena.
The itinerary for the day is as follows:
12.00-14.00 – Meet at the Community Office for coaching sessions and five-a-side matches;
14.00-14.30 – Lunch provided by McDonalds;
14.30-16.45 – Take a seat in the Pearl Street Stand for the match (specially reserved section).
Keith Hicks, Community Trust Manager says: “It is an ideal way to leave your children, fully supervised, whilst watching good entertaining football in a friendly environment at the Crown Oil Arena.
“Parents can spend the afternoon however they wish, free in the knowledge that their child is properly looked after.”
