Rochdale AFC’s Youth Team travel to Scunthorpe United on Saturday in the EFL Youth Alliance Cup.
It is Dale’s second game in Northern Group 6, after they were beaten by Port Vale in their opening fixture.
Scunthorpe drew 3-3 with Doncaster Rovers in their first match. Bury and Port Vale make up the rest of the five-team group, with only the group winners advancing to the next stage.
PDP Lead Coach Chris Brown said: "I'm looking forward to it, as are the lads.
"We want to get off the mark in terms of points in the group. There was a good performance midweek in a behind closed doors match, so I'm hoping the lads carry that in to tomorrow."
The match will take place at Brigg Town FC, The Hawthorns Ground, Hawthorn Avenue, Brigg, North Lincolnshire, DN20 8PG.
