Lewis Bradley Ahead Of Youth Team's Match At Accrington

20 October 2017

First-year scholar Lewis Bradley spoke to iFollow ahead of the Youth Team’s match away at Accrington Stanley on Saturday…

“They’re quite random really in how they approach it. They’re quite a hard team to play against.

“I think if we pass the ball fast and get up the pitch, we should create some good opportunities, and hopefully score some goals that can win us the game.”

Bradley scored the winning goal in the Youth Team’s dramatic 3-2 victory over Preston North End last weekend.

“It was good to score the winning goal after we’d tried so hard to get back into the game, and we ended up winning it which was great.

“We knew that we had to do better. We weren’t sure that we were going to get back into the game and win it, but we had to try, and it paid off in the second half.”

Elsewhere, everyone at Rochdale AFC was shocked and saddened by the passing of Accrington Stanley Academy player Jordan Moseley, who died suddenly on Tuesday night.

“The thoughts of all of us at the football club are with the family and friends of Jordan, said PDP Lead CoachBrown. We will do all we can as a club to help Jordan's family and Accrington, in any way we can.”
