The Youth Team take on Accrington Stanley in the first round of the FA Youth Cup this Tuesday evening (October 31st).
The tie, which is being played at Stanley’s Wham Stadium, will kick-off at 7pm kick-off.

It will be the third meeting between the sides this season, the most recent seeing Dale run out 5-2 winners in the EFL Youth Alliance League.
PDP Lead Coach Chris Brown is looking forward to the tie.
“We really look forward to the FA Youth Cup,” said Brown.
“It’s a different environment for the lads. It’s under the lights of a stadium on a Tuesday night, and it will be interesting to see how they cope.
“They played in a behind-closed-doors match at Stoke City recently, and they got the chance to play in a stadium. Over the next year or two, some of the lads will hopefully be playing in stadiums on Saturdays and Tuesday nights, so they’ve got to get used to that.
“Last year we should have done better than we did. A few people froze on the night, but we’re going to prepare well, and fingers crossed we’ll get through to the next round.”
