Manager Keith Hill discusses Calvin Andrew’s contract extension…
“You’ve got to take care of good business, whether you’re winning, losing or draw,” said Hill.
“You’ve got to have a plan. The worst thing about football today is that there are so many owners and chairmen of football clubs that don’t have a plan, but here, at this football club, we’re planning for everything. That’s all I try and do - plan for the future of this football club, and this [Calvin’s contract extension] is good planning.
“He’s a superb asset, both on and off the pitch. He’s a fan’s favourite, he’s a manager’s favourite and he’s a player’s favourite. Calvin is part of my plan and he’s part of the foot print and finger print of this football club.
“And that’s where it’s important that we continue to plan. Results are very important in any plan and you’ve got to plan everything to try and design those results. We’re trying to plan success regardless of the result on a Saturday to make this club better, and that’s what we’re doing.
