Ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup first round tie against Bromley at the Crown Oil Arena, we look back at last season’s first round encounter against Maidstone United.
Dale were drawn away to The Stones, and were seconds away from exiting the competition in the first fixture.
Bobby-Joe Taylor put the home side ahead in the 21st minute from the penalty spot, after Jamar Loza had been brought down inside the area.
It looked as though that goal would be the difference, until Callum Camps’ free-kick deep into stoppage time earned Dale a last-gasp replay.

The return fixture was more straight forward for Keith Hill’s men, thanks to Steven Davies’ first-half brace.
He tapped home Joe Rafferty’s right-wing cross after fourteen minutes, and doubled his tally eight minutes later from the penalty spot, after Joe Bunney was pulled to the ground.
It ensured Dale’s safe passage through to the second round, where a trip to Carlisle United awaited.
