Matty Lund made his first competitive appearance for Northern Ireland on Sunday, after featuring in their World Cup Qualifier against Norway at Windsor Park.
The Dale midfielder was introduced as a substitute in the 88th minute, replacing Leeds United’s Stuart Dallas to earn his second cap for his country.
Michael O’Neil’s side were 2-0 winners over the Norwegians and currently sit second in their qualifying group behind leaders Germany.
Northern Ireland were drawn in Group C alongside Azerbaijan, Germany, Norway and San Marino. They’ve played five games so far, winning three, drawing one and losing the other.
Lund earned his first senior cap in November, playing 45 minutes in a friendly against Croatia.
Congratulations, Matty!
