Bucket Collection This Saturday For Football To Amsterdam Fundraising Pot

3 March 2017

We’re delighted to welcome the EFL’s official charity partner, Prostate Cancer UK, to the Crown Oil Arena this Saturday.

An army of volunteers will be collecting funds in and around the ground, with money raised going towards the Football to Amsterdam fundraising pot.

In June, Dale fan Andrew Dolan and friends will be riding 145 miles over two days from Barnsley to Amsterdam. They’ll be joining 500 football fans, staff and legends of the game in a pedal-pilgrimage that takes place on 9-11 June.

Fancy trading your football shirt for the lycra?

It’s not too late to sign up and you can help us climb the F2A league. Places for the ride are running out fast so if you want to represent club name this June make sure you sign up soon

Cycling not your thing? March with Jeff Stelling instead.

Want to go a step further? You can do just that! Jeff Stelling is back and this time he’s walking 15 marathons in 15 days, plus he’ll be dropping in at the Crown Oil Arena.

After marching his beloved Hartlepool United to Wembley Stadium last year with Dale Chief Exec Russ Green, Jeff is on the move again, kicking off at St James Park in Exeter and finishing at St James’ Park, Newcastle.

On Day 8 of his March for Men, on Friday 9th June, Jeff will set-off from Oldham Athletic before finishing at Accrington Stanley, and he’ll be dropping in at Rochdale on the way! You can join him. Find out more at: www.marchformen.org/jeffsmarch

By the time he reaches the Magpies’ ground on 16 June 2017, he will have walked almost 400 miles, visiting 40 clubs on the way.

Whether you walked last year or you are new to his 2017 challenge sign up for Jeff Stelling’s March for Men and help stop prostate cancer being a killer.
