Brad Inman Is Looking Forward To Life At Dale

24 June 2017

Rochdale’s latest recruit, Brad Inman, is looking forward to starting pre-season training next week and getting down to work.

The midfielder, who joined Dale on a season-long loan on Friday, admits he’s excited about the season ahead and working under Keith Hill.

“The Gaffer seems likes he’s a winner and I want to play under someone like that,” he told iFollow.

“I remember playing against Rochdale last season and they were a very good team. Playing against Rochdale over the years, it has always been a tough place to come to – not many of the lads used to like coming here, so I’m excited about working with the Gaffer and the lads.”

Signing a year-long loan deal, Inman says it was important for him to join the club for the duration of the season.

“I asked to come here on a season-long loan because I want to be a part of this team for the whole season, not just six months.

“Over the last three seasons Rochdale have almost made it into the play-offs and that’s what has driven me to this club. Hopefully I can be part of achieving the next step.”

And the hard-working midfielder who has an eye for goal, already has his thoughts on Dale’s first game of the season away at Portsmouth.

“Because they’re newly promoted, they’re going to want to start the season well. They’ve got a good fan base at Fratton Park, so I’m sure it’ll be an interesting game.

“I was excited when I saw we were away at Pompey on the opening day because I’ve never played there before, but to be honest, I’m just excited about every game we’ll play this season.”
