Dale travel to Morecambe on Saturday (3pm kick-off) in the final pre-season friendly.
With the 2017/18 season beginning away at Portsmouth next weekend, the trip to the Globe Arena represents the final friendly for players to impress before the competitive action gets underway.

PREVIOUS MEETING AT THE GLOBE ARENA
Dale’s last trip to the Globe Arena was a victorious one, running out 2-1 winners in the 2013/14 promotion season.
A goalless first half was followed by two goals in two second half minutes for Dale. An own goal from Morecambe’s Mark Hughes broke the deadlock, before a stunning finish from Scott Hogan doubled the lead midway through the half.
Padraig Amond pulled one back for the hosts a minute before full-time, but Dale held on to move into the automatic promotion spots.

GETTING THERE
Address: Globe Arena, Christie Way, Westgate, Morecambe, LA4 4TB.
Exit the M6 at junction 34 and follow the signs for Morecambe. After around five miles you will reach a crossroads (with a McDonalds over on the right) where you turn right onto the Morecambe Road. You will then reach a roundabout, (where there is a Toby Carvery) where you take the first exit into Westgate Road (signposted West Promenade, Sandylands). Continue along this road for about one mile and you will reach the stadium on your right.
