Kgosi Ntlhe Delighted To Be Working For Keith Hill

27 July 2017

Kgosi Ntlhe spoke to iFollow after signing a two-year deal with the Club.

The 23-year-old impressed during a trial period, making appearances against FC Halifax, Middlesbrough and Barnsley during pre-season.

After training with the squad for a couple of weeks, Ntlhe is delighted to have signed a contract with the Club.

“I’m very happy. I’ve been here for a few weeks now, training with the boys. At first it was quite tough, but now I’m used to it and I’m really enjoying my time here.”

One of the main reasons for him joining the Club was Manager Keith Hill, who Ntlhe is delighted to play for.

“I’ve been wanting to work with him for a very long time and he’s a very good manager.

“He’s demanding. He never lets you rest. He’s always on your back and I think that’s what most players need.

“I’m happy to come back and play in League One, especially for the Gaffer, because I’ve been wanting to play for him for a few years now, and I’m glad to have that chance.”

Ntlhe spoke to former Dale player Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, who he was teammates with at Peterborough United, before coming to Rochdale.

“I spoke to Mendez last year and he mentioned Joe [Bunney] was doing really well, so it’s unfortunate that he’s injured. Hopefully when he’s back we can compete against each other and it will bring the best out of me and Joe.

“He [NML] also told us the Manager is very demanding and that’s the type of person I need.”
