Manager Keith Hill has told Dale PlayerHD that Steven Davies will be out action for up to six weeks due a knee injury.
He’s set to undergo an operation on the problem.
Meanwhile, Joe Thompson is also set for a spell on the side lines due to a back injury. It’s likely that he'll be out for up to four weeks.
On a positive note, Peter Vincenti completed 90 minutes in a closed doors game on Tuesday, as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury which has kept him out of action since September.
And Scott Tanser returned to training this week after a bout of illness.
