Manager Keith Hill is looking forward to a “great month of football” as Rochdale prepare to play six fixtures in February.
Dale open the month at home to Bristol Rovers and Hill is expecting a good game.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen with respect to the next 19 games but I’m excited by the prospect of playing against Bristol Rovers at the weekend or any other opposition," said Hill.
“It’ll be a good game. They’re a good side and they’ve adjusted brilliantly to League One. Darrell [Clarke] is an excellent manager and I think he does things with a lot of enthusiasm.
“They’re having to deal again with, in the way that we’ve dealt with, losing their talisman and their leading goal scorer, but he’ll deal with it really well and they’ll adjust because they’re a good, good side.
“I’m looking forward to the game.”
And Hill is in a buoyant mood going into the remainder of the campaign.
“This time last year we were looking over our shoulder, thinking we better get some points on the board. We managed to do it and our end of season form was amazing.
“This season, we’re in great form, we’re in a great position in the league, we’ve got games in hand on other teams and we’re still in the top six.
“This weekend, we’ve got to take care of our own business, and if it’s not this weekend, then it’ll be the weekend after. It’s a great month of football.”
