An injury update...
Both Josh Lillis and Matty Lund have undergone operations this week.
Lillis has had surgery on recurring long-term patellar tendinitis problem (knee), whilst Lund has a cartilage (knee) issue.
In addition, we can confirm that Calvin Andrew suffered a depression fracture to his cheekbone in Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup tie against Huddersfield Town, meaning he’ll also face a spell out of action.
Joe Bunney (fifth metatarsal fracture), Steven Davies (knee) and Joe Thompson (back) also remain on the side lines.
Meanwhile, Ollie Rathbone returned to training this week and it’s hoped he’ll be back in the squad for Saturday’s League One fixture against Bristol Rovers.
