Tuesday night’s League One fixture v Port Vale has been called-off due to a water-logged pitch.
The match referee carried out a pitch inspection shortly after 5pm and deemed the pitch unplayable due to surface water. It follows the sheer volume of rain that has fallen on the pitch over the last 48-hours.
There was also representation from Rochdale and Port Vale in attendance at the inspection.
Supporters who have bought tickets will be entitled to a refund. Please contact the Ticket Office for more details. Tickets will, however, be vailed for the rearranged game, and the £1 ticket offer will remain in place of the re-arranged match.
A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.
