Slough Town v Rochdale: Emirates FA Cup Second Round, Monday 4th December, 7.45pm Kick-Off

Rochdale face a trip to Southern Premier League side Slough Town in Monday night’s Emirates FA Cup second round tie.

The match was one of the picks of the second-round draw, and will be broadcast live on BT Sport 1, with the programme set to get underway at 7pm. 

The Rebels were huge winners in round one, beating Gainsborough Trinity 6-0, whilst Dale saw off Vanarama National side Bromley 4-0 at the Crown Oil Arena.



Assistant Manager Chris Beech was on pre-match press duties during the week. He insists the Dale squad will be taking nothing for granted on Monday night.

The draw for round three of the Emirates FA Cup will take place on Monday night, shortly before the second-round tie gets underway.

It’ll be broadcast live on BT Sport 1 and BBC 2 from 7pm.

Dale and the Rebels have been assigned ball number 52 for the draw.

Dale are at odds of 4/9 to secure victory over Slough on Monday night.

Dale have reached the fourth round of the FA Cup in three of the previous four campaigns. Last season, a 2-0 win over Carlisle United secured Dale’s passaged through the third round.

After a goalless first-half, Steven Davies opened the scoring three minutes after the break, before Nathaniel Mendez-Laing ensured victory in stoppage time.
