The draw for Round Three of the Checkatrade Trophy will take place live on talkSPORT at 12.30pm on Friday 8 December.
Dale's penalty shootout victory over Doncaster Rovers last week secured their place in Round Three, which is regionalised into a Northern and Southern draw.
Dale have been assigned ball number seven in Friday's draw.
Also in the Northern Section draw are Blackpool, Bury, Fleetwood Town, Leicester City under-21s, Lincoln City, Oldham Athletic and Shrewsbury Town.
Lynsey Hipgrave is set to oversee the proceedings for the Round Three draw live on talkSPORT. talkSPORT pundit and comedian Bob Mills will join Lynsey on set to draw the balls alongside former Arsenal player and talkSPORT presenter Perry Groves.
As well as being broadcast live, the draw will be announced shortly after its conclusion via @CheckatradeTrpy on Twitter.

As announced in the summer, the draw for the Last 16 will be regionalised into Northern and Southern sections, but will revert to an open draw from the Quarter-Finals onwards.
The Checkatrade Trophy Round Three fixtures are scheduled to take place week commencing January 8th 2018.
