Rochdale AFC are pleased to announce the signing of Jordan Williams on loan from Premier League side Liverpool.
Williams, a versatile player who is comfortable operating in midfield and defence, has joined the club until January.
He told iFollow: “I’m really excited that I’ve got the loan deal over the line and I’m looking forward to getting going.
“I played with Joe Rafferty a few times when he was at the Liverpool Academy and I’ve spoken to him about coming to Rochdale. Joe loves it here and he’s told me that it’s a great club to play for and that the lads are brilliant.
“I played for Swindon on loan a couple of years ago and I just want to get back out and play league football again, because you learn a lot more than playing for the under-23s.”
The 21-year-old joined Liverpool’s Academy at under-14 level, and progressed through the ranks there, before going on to make his debut for the first team in September 2014.
He has been capped at under-21 level for Wales, and has also received a call-up to the full squad.
Williams has also gained valuable experience in the EFL, having had loan spells at Notts County and Swindon Town previously.
Welcome to the Club, Jordan!
