The Youth Team came from behind to beat Accrington Stanley on Tuesday.
David Owusu and Joe Piggott netted in the 2-1 victory.
The hosts opened the scoring from a set-piece after five minutes, but Dale levelled the scoring midway through the first half.
A free-kick on the left, 35-yards from goal, was sent into the area and won by Piggott, whose flick on, was nodded in at the near post Owusu.
In the 52nd minute, Piggott went from provider to goal scorer. After racing onto a ball which had taken a ricochet, he rounded the outrushing goalkeeper and finished into the bottom corner of the net.
