Dale are back on the road this Saturday as Keith Hill’s side make the trip to the Kassam Stadium to face Oxford United.
It’s the first of two league away trips on the bounce, with a trip to Bristol Rovers following in a week’s time. Don’t forget, however, that Rochdale are back in action at the Crown Oil Arena on Tuesday night, hosting Sunderland in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Dale go into the weekend’s game following the 1-1 draw with AFC Wimbledon, while Oxford United were beaten 2-1 by Sheffield United in their last league outing.
Before the transfer window shut on Wednesday, U’s boss Michael Appleton added Marvin Johnson and Charlie Raglan to his squad. Johnson completed a permanent switch from Motherwell for an undisclosed fee and Raglan joined on loan until January from Chesterfield.
Dale will be without the suspended Callum Camps for the fixture, while Matty Lund is also unavailable for selection after his call-up by the Northern Ireland squad for their World Cup qualifier.
In addition, Hill has said that he has fresh injuries to contend with.
