Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Saturday’s League One fixture against Southend United.
The programme is once again a 76-page issue containing plenty of reading to keep fans entertained and informed before, during and after the match.
We start with a lifestyle front cover image of goalkeeper Josh Lillis, who made his 200th appearance for Dale in our recent game at Millwall.
Josh is the subject of the programme’s new Q&A feature, in which he reveals his footballing heroes when he was growing up.
We also have an interview with former Dale winger Leo Bertos and supporters John Rowe and Dylan Peacock again bring us their opinion columns.
Scrutator reviews a recent television programme he watched about a well-known kit manufacturer, while in Through The Years we recall an away game in which Dale found the net five times.
Action photos appear from the games against QPR and AFC Wimbledon and Traveller’s Tales reports on the trip to Oxford.
There is the usual taxing half-time quiz to test your Dale knowledge and ‘Colour Confusion’ looks at when purple and blue kits were eventually deemed to clash.
Visitors Southend United get nine pages of coverage, which includes five thoughts that pop into our minds whenever Dale take on The Shrimpers.
All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
