Success after Dale - where are they now?
Former Academy scholars Japhet Mata and Callum Schorah have moved to Sweden to continue their progression in professional football.
Schorah, who was youth team captain last season, and Mata, left Dale at the end of last season following the completion of their scholarships.
At the start of the season, the pair signed contracts at Swedish side IFK Osterund, who have just been promoted to step four, after winning the League. The team were unbeaten, scoring 108 goals and conceding just 8!
Both players are really enjoying their football out there along with their Coach, who is delighted with them both.
Callum and Japhet have been key players throughout the season, and have been offered extensions for next season.
