Speaking after Saturday’s League 1 fixture v Charlton Athletic, Manager Keith Hill confirmed that Jamie Allen sustained a knee injury during the second half at The Valley.
Allen was forced off less than 10 minutes after the break and Hill reckons he’ll have to spend some time on the side-lines.
“Jamie is probably going to be out for a substantial period of time," said Hill.
“It looks like he has opened his knee up, which will keep him off the pitch.”
