England U20 Squad Announced For Match At Crown Oil Arena

The England Under-20 squad for October’s games against the Netherlands, Germany and the USA has been named.

England take on the USA at the Crown Oil Arena on Monday 10th October (7pm kick-off). Get your tickets at or pay on the night - Adults £3, Juniors £1.50. 

There is a first-ever international call-up for 18-year-old midfielder Ovie Ejaria, who made his debut for Liverpool earlier this month, while Chelsea’s Jake Clarke-Salter is included at under-20 level for the first time. Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin retains his place after scoring on the U20s’ previous outing, while Dominic Solanke returns to the Young Lions fold after missing September’s fixtures, having been named in the Under-21 squad only to withdraw through injury.

Defenders: Jake Clarke-Salter (Bristol Rovers, loan from Chelsea), Callum Connolly (Everton), Dael Fry (Rotherham United, loan from Middlesbrough), Jonjoe Kenny (Everton), Tafari Moore (FC Utrecht, loan from Arsenal)*, Taylor Moore (Bristol City), Fikayo Tomori (Chelsea), Axel Tuanzebe (Manchester United), Kyle Walker-Peters (Tottenham Hotspur)

Midfielders: Lewis Cook (AFC Bournemouth), Kieran Dowell (Everton), Ovie Ejaria (Liverpool), Ainsley Maitland-Niles (Arsenal), Joshua Onomah (Tottenham Hotspur), Reece Oxford (West Ham United)

Forwards: Adam Armstrong (Barnsley, loan from Newcastle United), Izzy Brown (Rotherham United, loan from Chelsea), Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton), Harrison Chapman (Sheffield United, loan from Middlesbrough), Ademola Lookman (Charlton Athletic), Patrick Roberts (Celtic, loan from Manchester City), Dominic Solanke (Chelsea).

The three fixtures form part of a four-nation tournament, which takes place between 5 October and 10 October.

The Young Lions face the Netherlands at Oldham Athletic’s Park on Wednesday 5 October, before taking on Germany at the John Smith’s Stadium in Huddersfield two days later. Their final game, again the USA, will be held at Rochdale’s Crown Oil Arena on Monday 10 October. All three games kick off at 7pm.
