Rochdale have been drawn at home to Chesterfield in the second round (knock-out stages) of the Checkatrade Trophy.
The tie will be played at the Crown Oil Arena on the week commencing December 5th.
A date and admission prices for the fixture will be announced in due course.
Rochdale finished top of Northern Group F to progress to the knock-out stages of the competition as group winners.
