Signed shirt & poster up for auction to raise funds for charity...
In less than a month, Dale supporters Simon Hammonds and Peter Oliver will get on their bikes to represent Rochdale Football Club at this year’s Cycle to Amsterdam Challenge.
The fundraising event, which is backed by the Football League, will see the duo cycle 145-miles over two days, leaving Barnsley on June 3rd.
By signing up for the challenge, they’ve joined 500 other fans/ club staff from across the Football League in pledging to raise money (a minimum of £1,000 each) for Prostate Cancer UK.
So far, the pair have raised over 80-percent of their total target, thanks to donations from friends, family and fellow Dale supporters, but need one last push to get them over the finish line.
As such, we’re auctioning off a match worn, signed Michael Rose shirt and a Grant Holt poster, which has been signed by the Dale legend. The shirt is a 2015-16 away shirt and has been signed on the back by Rose.
The items come as a pair and will go to the highest bidder.
Bidding opens at midday on Friday 13th May 2016 and will close at midday on Tuesday 17th May 2016.
