Spotland Stadium will play host to this year’s League Football Education’s Assessment Trials.
One of four events held around the country, the trials provide a platform for apprentice footballers and first year professionals, who have been released from their clubs, to showcase their talent to scouts from the UK and abroad. It’s all in a bid to secure a future in football.
Split into four regional events, Spotland will host the Northern trials this Thursday. They were last held at the club in 2013.
