Rochdale Football Club is delighted to announce that Calvin Andrew has extended his stay at the club after signing a new deal.
Andrew, who was out of contract this summer, has put pen to paper on a one-year-deal.
The 29-year-old has been at Rochdale since the summer of 2014 and has made almost 80 appearances for Keith Hill’s side since then.
“I’ve been here two years and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it,” said Andrew.
“I feel as though the Gaffer and the staff at the club get the best out of me.
“It’s always good to know where you’re going to be next season so I’m really pleased to have sorted my contract situation this early.”
Andrew clinched the winning goal in Rochdale’s final day of the season victory over Colchester United, ensuring Dale achieved their highest ever League 1 points total.
The forward admits he’s pleased to finish the season a high note.
“It’s a good feeling to get the goal that has taken us into the history books of this club.
“It’s also nice to end the season with a win and with a goal. I’m hoping we can take that momentum into next season.”
