First year scholars cook up a storm...
Dale’s newest scholars have had an introduction to life at the club ahead of starting their pre-season programme later this week.
The first year scholars, who are aged 15 and 16, started the next chapter of their footballing careers on Monday, as they began their two year scholarship with an induction session.
They'll prepare for the new campaign during pre-season, but before they've even had the chance to kick a ball, they’ve been taught how to look after themselves off the pitch.
Delivered by Dale’s Education Officer, Alistair Linden, the youngsters received information on the types of foods they should be eating, and were taught the necessary skills needed to cook the dishes.
The hints and tips will come in useful for the scholars, who are leaving home for the first time.
The lads (as pictured above and below) cooked up a tasty chicken dish.
