Following promotion to, and relegation from League One, Dale will face seven new opponents during the 2016-17 campaign.
AFC Wimbledon, Bristol Rovers, Oxford United and Northampton Town won promotion from League Two, while Bolton Wanderers, Charlton Athletic and MK Dons were relegated from the Championship.
Dale don’t have to wait too long to face their new opponents, with Keith Hill’s side facing four of the seven sides in quick succession. The games against MK Dons, AFC Wimbledon, Oxford United and Bristol Rovers are all scheduled to take place over a four week period in August and September.
