Dale's under 18 side got their pre-season games schedule off to a winning start on Saturday, after a 2-1 victory over Preston North End.
Elliot Murray and Lewis Bradley were on the score-sheet in the friendly at the UCLAN Sports Arena.
Murray is a first year scholar, while Bradley is an under 16.
