Rochdale AFC’s newest recruit Sanmi Odelusi has spoken to Dale PlayerHD about his season-long loan move to the club.
The 23-year-old winger joined Dale on loan from Championship side Wigan Athletic on Monday and he’s hoping for a successful spell at Spotland.
He said: “The main thing for me is to try and get game time and to show people what I can do. Not only that, but myself as well.
“Last season was an unfortunate season for me because I was lumbered with a few injuries. It was an aggravating season so hopefully I can get a run of games during my time here at Spotland.
“[Heading out on loan for a season] was one of the main things I looked at because I wanted to be settled. You can get into your football and enjoy all of the games that you’re able to get.”
And Odelusi hopes can learn from Manager Keith Hill during his time at the club.
“I sat down with the Gaffer and he’s a quality bloke.
“I hope he can teach me a lot of things and I can take on board what he knows so that I, in turn, can work hard for the club and push on from there.
“He’s told me that if I give him 100-percent then I’ll get 100-percent back. That’s what stuck out for me.”
