Keith Hill On Possible Transfer Activity

19 January 2016

Manager Keith Hill hasn’t ruled out further transfer activity at the club this week.

He made the revelation after David Syers put pen to paper on a deal until the end of the season on Monday afternoon.

When asked if there would be any further movement, either in or out of the club, he told Dale PlayerHD: “Yeah, probably. I think it’s hotting up a little bit.

“We’ve had one or two enquiries for one or two of the players who haven’t been playing on a regular basis. I’d prefer if the shake-up or the turn-around of players happens at the end of the season but if we can we move one or two on and get one or two in.

“Although, I’m not in too much of a rush to get players in now. I think we’ve got a fully loaded squad - the majority of the players are fit.

“I think it’s time for one or two to move on and get some games because you shouldn’t be happy if you’re not playing. You should be doing everything you can to play. And I’m not saying we’ve got players who are happy when they’re not playing.

“They’re very good squad players but they need to play football and if one or two clubs are expressing an interest in our players who aren’t playing on a regular basis then I’m prepared to allow those players to leave.”
