Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Friday’s League One fixture against Shrewsbury Town.
The programme is once again a 76-page issue containing plenty of reading to keep fans entertained and informed before, during and after the match.
We start with a lifestyle front cover image of Jamie Allen, who is the subject of the programme’s Q&A feature, in which he reveals who was his favourite player when he was growing up in Rochdale.
As is tradition, we have our annual Quiz of the Year, while supporter John Rowe is also in a reflective mood as he looks back at the season so far.
Scrutator debates about the best decade in which to watch football and in ‘Through The Years’ we recall Keith Hill’s first win as Rochdale manager.
Action photos appear from both games against Maidstone and at Bradford, while ‘Traveller’s Tales’ reports on the trip to Gillingham.
There is the usual taxing half-time quiz to test your Dale knowledge and in ‘Colour Confusion’, we remember an opening day fixture against Friday’s opponents.
Visitors Shrewsbury Town get nine pages of coverage, which includes five thoughts that pop into our minds whenever Dale take on The Shrews.
All this and much, much more will be in Friday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
