Manager Keith Hill offered a brief injury update earlier this week…
Matty Lund, Reuben Noble-Lazarus, Ollie Rathbone and Peter Vincenti have all missed the start of the season through injury.
As Hill explains, he’s unable to put an exact timescale on how long they’ll remain side-lined for.
“Since the pre-season friendly against AFC Fylde, we’ve been thinking that Peter Vincenti is only a couple of days away from training, but he keeps getting an impingement that flares up after every couple of training sessions, or one particular striking of the ball in a training session.
“And it’s the same with Reuben. Again, it’s a question of how long is a piece of string.
“Matty Lund is a couple of weeks away. He has made great progress considering the type of injury that he had, but he’s just got to put the final pieces of the jigsaw together.”
