The countdown is on… Dale’s 2016-17 season kits will be revealed on Saturday 30 April when Dale play Swindon Town in the last home game of the season.
It all started back in September and now the wait is almost over… Dale’s 2016-17 home and away kits, as deigned by and voted for by fans, will be revealed on Saturday (April 30th).
Embraced by Team Rochdale, the 6-3-1 project received over 300 entries, with fans of all ages and from all over the world getting involved. The youngest entrant was aged just 4 years old, while the oldest entrant was aged 75.
A panel of judges from the club, including the Directors, players, Errea and the Dale Supporters Trust, met back in September to whittle the 300 designs down to shortlist of six home and six away kits. Supporters then had the opportunity to vote for three finalists from those six.
After the fans' vote in October, the finalists (three home and away kits) went back to the vote and were voted on by supporters in December. The winning designs have been kept under-wraps since then and will be revealed at 9am on April 30.
The new kits, supplied by Errea, will be available to purchase online from 9am and instore in the Club Shop. Adult shirts at priced at £40, while Junior shirts are priced at £30.
Thank you to everyone who entered the competition and good luck to the six finalists!
