Want to study while playing football? There’s still time to join Dale’s Elite Development Squad.
As previously announced, Rochdale Football Club has teamed up with Hopwood Hall College to offer a new qualification - a two year Level 3 Diploma in Sport and Football.
The course is being delivered from the club’s newly refurbished Education Suite at Spotland Stadium.
16 students are currently signed up for the course, which got underway earlier this month, but we’re still on the look-out for four more to join.
Students train and study on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and will play games in the BSC ECFA League on Wednesday’s.
Entry requirements:
16-18 years old. Minimum of 3 years at a football Academy or Centre of Excellence.
Level 3: 4 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English or Maths.
